Welcome to Chase’s Humes Portfolio. Fair warning, if you aren’t a Davidson student or professor you’re probably in the wrong place. As you go through my portfolio you will start with my definition of revolution and Humanities which are based off of common themes I found amongst the different units we have studied this past year. This leads into Non-Textual Something New, which is a picture I took of the Parthenon. This piece focuses on human interaction with foreign cultures and being able to be present and mindful within a space that is unfamiliar. This then leads to my Review of Something New which is my takeaway from The Book of Will which is a play we saw earlier in the year. This piece focuses on human development and how we are now at a point where cultures are evolving and interacting with one another more frequently than before. My next piece is a creative writing piece that touches on a personal revolution, one that I felt was important in my life. My next two pieces are works I have constructed during humanities, with my last one being my research paper where I talk about the negative impact body image has on women.
I hope you enjoy and I thank all of my classmates and professors for a wonderful year.
